The Arkansas knife sharpening bench stone hard/soft combination will make the Blade Sharpener System complete.
The 2" by 8" hard and soft Arkansas combo is an exceptional pair of stones rolled into one and will complete the EZESharp system and allow you to get an incredibly sharp blade with ease.
After much research and thought about the best stones to use for this system, I have decided that this stone is the most correct and practical.
Whether you use this stone with or without the Blade Sharpener by EZESharp, you will want to begin with a coarser stone or stones to remove metal. The Hard Arkansas stone will remove very little metal but will polish the final edge to an incredible sharpness.
These stones and any other sharpening stone as well can be used with either water or oil, I prefer to use water.
If you use oil on the stones and decide to use water instead, you may need to clean the stone with detergent.
